Woolmer killed?

I am not being insensitive or anything. I am just not willing to wait for people to finish mourning before this doubt surfaces.

Who killed Woolmer?
1. A Paki cricket fan
2. A Paki cricketer
3. A Paki president order
4. The Paki coach himself

I think Woolmer, with all his experience would not have commited suicide. He is also known to be cool and sensible. So it cannot be a cardiac arrest. I have not known anyone to vomit during a cardiac arrest.

He was a pioneer. He introduced technology to cricket coaching. His innovative practise sessions were well received by players and his analyses were next to none. Inspite of all this, he made a big mistake, choosing to coach Pakistan. That proved costly and his family paid dear. These words will be echoing in the minds of his immediate family. It will be the biggest international cover up - next only to the assasination of Rajiv Gandhi, when not even a single prominent partyworker died - if this goes without investigation in the name of the World Cup. My heart goes out to his close family and friends. God give them the courage through this ordeal.

To me, his biggest achievement is sticking to his religion, despite coaching (in)Pakistan - where Yo Yo failed.

PS: Indian cricketing fans are no different. I prescribe two Tamilnadu constables(next only to Scotland Yard per Captain Vijayakanth) and sorbitol for Greg Chappell.

You are right Rajesh! Woolmer is supposed to be cool guy...Infact as per the latest press statement issued by Inzy, Bob had said that such shocking defeats happen and it had happened to SA in 1999 WC and one need to come out of it...

So how come the press is saying that he died of stress?

RIP Woolmer

The Iraq War is a dire necessity. Cricket is a stupid game. Do not relate them.

India wins too much noise pollution. That thaneer thara dhrogi Dravid will be immortalized. 24 years back India won, and they met again this year. The Third World always does very little and keeps trumpeting it. If any asian country wins all of them will celebrate and all the bhai-bhaing will be disgusting. Any africal nation wins it'll be celebrated as a racial equalizer. India will put Mohandas's days in africa in cycle gap.

An Anglican nation should win, to prevent all this. World stability and peace if one of Australia, Scotland, Ireland, England, Newzealand, Canada wins. They should and will.

APAM NAPAT said...

I,
Were you extradited from India or something. Why this hate. Yeah, Canada has a good chance to win.
And Iraq war was not absolutely necessary by any means. If creating chaos is World Stability, you are on the mark.

Think 1970s oil embargo and blackmail. An American puppet government is essential in all oil rich nations for a fully functional global economy. People do not seem to understand the necessity of such difficult policies. So much could be done with Shah in Iran, the King in Saudi/Jordan and Musharaf in Pakistan. Puppet governments can do what a real democracy can't. And Moslems don't deserve democracy anyway (they elect Hamas and Hezbollah).

It's the threat of (economic/military) American retaliation that prevents China from invading Taiwan/India. N.Korea from invading S.Korea. Not those tinpot armies. Anglican countries understand that the United States is the guardian of all free peoples. The Third World does not, therefore they should lose badly.

Australia should win the World Cup at least coz it sent troops to Iraq and is an American ally. Great Britain, for the same reason.

Asian/African victories generate too much noise. And even a little power makes them dangerous. Darrel Hair was sacked by fiat, remember. Coz he interprets law correctly.

Anglican dominance guarantess civility and order.

The hotel where the cricket teams stay is a high-security area. The killer (if any) couldn't have been a normal angry fan that stones players' houses.

Vomiting is a common occurrence in cardiac arrest

I,
Angelican dominance gives civility by subjugation. Your arguement has logic but it has no love for fellow humanbeings. So you will continue to win those debates but it proves nothing. Your understanding of life and suffering through the eyes of the westerm media will always be rosy. Everything in the wolrd need not be in binary( right or wrong). Letting others live is something which even the western world does not encourage. That is why you hear all the talks of fear of China becoming a superpower or India's dominance etc. This fear will effectively translate to enimity. More lives are lost today than pre-war Iraq. Bosnia, Kosova etc are good examples of what western dominance has resulted in. West cannot meet east in middle-east. They have to live with diversity. I know democracy is not ideal for all. Then why introduce democracy to Iraq when it was being run by a secular dictator who had the interest of the minorities in the Shia-dominated country.

Deepa,
It could be a influential Pakistani. But it is not surely a Jamaican. It is not a natural death or suicide.

non,
Thx for the link. But I am still not convinced.

I am sad to see that the Indians are jumping onto the bandwagon of self cooked theories about Bob's death. What ever the reason the fact ought to come out and the culprints (if any) should be hanged. I as a Pakistani had a great respect and loved his way of cricket coaching. I shall miss you BOB.

I said...

ah, there will be a puppet government in iraq. And if china (or India) becomes a "superpower", that'll be the end of civilization. But they won't.

Maybe he just died! People die you know, for no reason at all. It happens all the time, happened to my uncle and he wasn't the national coach of a fanatically cricket crazy country that just crashed out of the world cup! He died. We all die. Get over it.

Angry anon,
For me delhi and Islamabad are no different. Both are distant cultures to me. One govens my state. That is all. I don't have anything against you, your religion or your country. Nevertheless the coincidence can't go unnoticed. Anyone will take a dig at it. I have mentioned Indian fans in same vein. Are u partially blind.

ok fair comment Rajesh

I am commenting here only because you live in the same city/state as me :-)

Just a minor nit on this point:

"I have not known anyone to vomit during a cardiac arrest."

Very incorrect. My uncle died of massive coronary arrest and before we admitted him to the hospital he was practically emptying his stomach all over his room.

oh and btw, naanum tamilian thaan. Its very difficult to find fellow tamilians if you don't live in Irving or Plano or Dallas or one of those seriously posh places.

You missed one option my friend.

5- ISI

Honestly , being Pakistani, we all are in great distress and theory like yours are not calming.

Any how please do not use word Paki. This word is used in all over the Europe for South Asians(Bangla/SL/Pak/Indian) and you could be sued for using this word there. It is just like "nigger"

APAM NAPAT said...

Dilip,
I don't know your uncle. So I am still correct. :-) Ok I take that as a mistake.

A "Pakistan President Order"? Really? Why? But then, if you asked Why? you probably wouldn't have anything to write!

APAM NAPAT said...

zaki,
Anything can happen in the name of cricket. But I really don't think it is a Presidential order as yet.
Thanks for visiting.

Your article is highly racial in nature. I hope you realize that using the word "Paki" is a racial slur directed primarily at Pakistanis and and in general to ALL of Indian/Pakistani origin.
